Champaign-Urbana offers graduate students many housing options, from residing in university residence halls to private apartments.
The search for housing may seem overwhelming, especially from afar. We encourage you to consult the university Off-Campus Community Living website, which contains helpful information to assist you in this endeavor.
Note that when you sign a housing contract or lease, it is a legally binding document. Before signing a lease, students are encouraged to utilize the Off-Campus Community Living Lease Checklist (found near bottom of web page) to help you consider what could be in the lease.
